Biographies Tony Butler Tony is chairman of Eastwood Writers' Group and an active member and former Secretary of Nottingham Writers' Club. He has won numerous short story writing competitions, written and broadcast a series of ‘Morning Thoughts’, for BBC Radio Derby. In 2002, his Children’s short story trilogy, ‘Abby & Jackdaw’s Adventures’ won Derbyshire’s ‘Read On – Write Away’ Adult literary competition. His flash fiction, 250 word story, ‘The Secret’ won Yours Magazine’s national competition. He decided to attend the Annual Writers’ Summer School, and learn his craft and in after three successive summer schools, wrote Merlin’s Granddaughter. Unable to find an agent or publisher in the UK, interested in looking at his work, Tony, was delighted to be invited to submit his children’s novel, ‘Merlin’s Granddaughter’ to Mystic Moon Press a USA publisher of ebooks. Merlin’s Granddaughter was published on 14th November 2007. Different, a novel for young adults, followed in January 2008. Killing Cat an adult crime novel will be released on March 28th 2008.
