Saturday at the Playwright…

Join our writing community for our second Saturday at The Playwright in Nottingham city centre.

This month, our homework theme is Something Dark… Come along and hear the 800 word prose and poetry it inspired. Or try it for yourself.

We’re flexible in our arrival and leaving times, so choose the timings that work for you.

Arrive early for food and chat between midday and 1.30 pm. Then from 1.30 onward it’s your work, feedback, and any writing questions or problems.

We’re a mix of ages and writing abilities; from newer writers all the way through to published.

Find us in one of the events rooms.

Any questions? You can always use our contact form, and we’ll answer as soon as we can.

See you there…

Meeting at The Playwright…

Come along to our second Saturday in May meeting at The Playwright Craft Pub, in Nottingham city centre.

We’re building a writing community, whether you’re a new writer, experienced, or somewhere between the two.

We believe we all benefit by sharing our knowledge and abilities in a positive friendly group.

This month, the homework theme is parties. It can be a poem, or a piece of prose, a story up to 800 words. If you don’t want to read it out yourself, we’ll read it for you. Or write it for your own enjoyment. We don’t mind.

There’s time for lunch and chat between 12.30 and 1.30 pm. From then on it’s hearing your creativity. After that, it’s flexible.
