Want to be heard by an international audience?
Do you feel some work only truly comes to life when it’s read aloud?
Club member Graham Wright thinks so. As a seasoned local radio producer and presenter, he has devised a new web page for members to make their work heard, and accessible to anyone anywhere via their PC, tablet or phone.
Pieces are recorded monthly by the authors (or their readers) at manuscript meetings. They can be done in private or at the meeting. Graham will then edit, process and upload the work onto the website. Work can be of any length but he suggests only up to 2000 words if recorded at meetings.
Once uploaded they will be available to hear for a minimum of three months and presented in audio players. They won’t be downloadable which will make the theft of writers’ work very difficult although he can provide downloadable versions for iPods if required.
If required, additional downloadable versions each linked next to the audio player are available.
